I thought the fire was out.
I stirred the ashes.
I burnt my fingers.
-Antonio Machado

Creativity is a dangerous word. It can separate us from “them”: those who society thinks are gifted in some way that most people aren’t–artists, writers, start-up developers, inventors, composers–and make us believe that those who aren’t “creative” are here only to consume and digest the works of others. But nothing can be further from the truth. When we remove that myth from our mind, the creative fire can flare through any of us in a way that celebrates our own unique life and talents.

In this daylong we will use writing to explore some of the following themes:

Dissolve Creative Blocks and Identify Your Gifts
The Power of Daydream and Silence
Passion Focus and Flow
Pay Attention to Your Senses
Risk Courage and Persistence

Who Will Benefit from this Class:
Both writers and non-writers who wish to explore the deeper layers of their life journey.
